San Jose del Cabo colorful history, dates back from 1700´s and includes Pericue Indians, pirates, merchants and missionaries. Unlike its twin brother, Cabo San Lucas, San Jose retains a charm unspoiled by time and modernity. Old town is the historical, cultural and artistic center of the Los Cabos region. Just steps from Señor Mañana, guests can explore colorful streets, quirky shops and quaint restaurants. Rising from the center of the square is the iconic Jesuit mission founded in 1730.

San Jose town has several attracions and these are a MUST: Jardín del Arte (tuesdays from 16-22 hrs.) Art walk (thursdays from 17-21 hrs.) and The Organic Market (saturdays from 8-15 hrs.) The San José del Cabo Estuary and Bird Sanctuary, located across from Señor Mañana is a freshwater wetland of great importance for migratory and shorebirds due to the scarcity of bodies of water in the Baja California Peninsula. Its a refugee for birds and other wildlife, vegetation marks a tropical riverine environment, unique in the desert region of the Cape district. A wonderful walk, take water, camera and enjoy all the way to the beach!

From Horse & camel backriding at the beach or mountain, snorkel in translucent waters, scuba diving in the acquarium of the world, surf the pacific, swim with a whale shark, stand up paddle in blue waters, enjoy a whale watching, sail the sea of Cortes, fish and eat your catch, ride through the dessert by the ocean on an ATV vehicle, hike and explore the baja, or bask the warm waters of a hot spring oasis in the highlands.
